Styrene-butadiene latex should be the most common back glue in the domestic market. It is the preferred material for many artificial turf manufacturers. It has good performance and low cost. The main brands of styrene-butadiene latex include American Tao Chemical glue, German BASF glue, and some enterprises. The domestic glue used has a large gap in quality, but the price is cheap; styrene-butadiene latex is available in black and green. Styrene-butadiene latex is a big test for lawn recycling. Due to the complicated recycling process, the cost is relatively expensive.
PU adhesive has very good adhesion to grass silk, good stability, and acid and alkali resistance. The strength and binding force are more than several times that of styrene-butadiene latex and styrofoam products, durable and beautiful in color. However, PU adhesive is mainly used in some high-end markets, and the price is relatively high. It is used less in China, and the artificial turf with PU adhesive is not recyclable.
