PB600 Can do:

1) Diagnose 12 ~24V automotive electrical systems swiftly and accurately. Connect the battery clips to the vehicle battery and the tester will be powered up, without the need for additional power supply.

2) Test DC Voltage, AC Voltage, Frequency, Duty Cycle, Resistance, Diode, Fuel Injection, Relay and Vehicle Battery. Especially, in AC Voltage, Frequency, Duty Cycle and Fuel Injection tests, user can press the OK button to switch between Waveform Display Mode and Digital Display Mode.

3) Activate electrical components and test their functions without jumper leads –by using Component Test to conduct a positive or negative battery current into the tester probe tip so as to power up electrical components. 

4) Test bad ground contacts instantly without performing voltage drop tests due to short circuit protection. 

5) Help user to follow and locate short circuits without using external fuses. 

6) Test continuity with the assistance of its auxiliary ground lead. 

7) The tool is short-circuit protected. If it becomes overloaded, its internal circuit breaker will trip to protect the tester from overload.

8) When the circuit breaker is tripped, the tool will NOT be able to conduct battery current to the tester probe tip even when a certain function button is pressed (After approx. 10~15 seconds, the function will automatically resume); however, all other functions of the tester are still active, which means you can still probe a circuit and observe the voltage reading.

Function Introduction
PB600 has multiple Function Test Modes: DC Voltage, AC Voltage, Frequency, Duty Cycle, Fuel Injection, Resistance, Diode, Activating Components In Your Hand (Component Test), Relay Test, Battery Test, Cranking Test and Charging Test etc. 

Especially, in AC Voltage, Frequency, Duty Cycle and Fuel Injection Modes, user canpress the button to switch between Waveform Display Mode and Digital Display Mode.  Once the battery clips are correctly clamped onto the vehicle battery, the tester will automatically turn on and display the startup screen, and display the main menu with 8 function icons in 3 seconds. 

The main menu contains 8 function test options: OSCILLOSCOPE, MULTIMETER, Advanced Circuit Tester INJECTOR, RELAY, BATTERY, ACTIVE，PN-TEST，and SETUP. Each function test contains specified functions as follows:

OSCILLOSCOPE - mainly tests various voltage signals, including four functions: DC voltage, AC voltage, Frequency, and Duty Cycle. Except for DC voltage, the other three is able to switch between digital display mode and waveform display mode, which are part of the oscilloscope function.

MULTIMETER- mainly tests the resistance value and forward voltage of the diode. Resistance measurement also includes continuity test - When resistance value is less than 30Ω, the tester buzzer will alarm, which is used to identify whether the wire is disconnected.

INJECTOR - mainly tests the fuel injection signal parameters, and only includes one function. It can switch between waveform display and digital display modes through button.

RELAY mainly tests and helps identity if the vehicle relays are working properly through relay test cable, auxiliary ground lead, and probe.

BATTERY - mainly tests vehicle battery, which includes three functions: Battery Test, Cranking Test and Charging Test, in order to detect vehicle battery health. Activate Component(Activating Components In Your Hand) - mainly activates the vehicle components by pressing a specific button to make the power flow from the positive lead on the battery into the probe tip or grounded to supply power so as to activate vehicle components.

PN-Test - PN junction test. The function is the same as the diode test in the MULTIMETER function.

SETUP - Settings function, used to set the status of the host, such as language selection, buzzer switch, display screen testing, LED testing, host upgrade, and host version number, etc.

⚠ Warning!!!
PB600 is ONLY for 12-24V vehicle battery electrical systems, and should NOT be used to test 110/220V household electric appliances; otherwise, it will be damaged.The LED and LCD pull no more than 100 milliamp of current, therefore when using this tester as a test light or multimeter, it is safe for computer and airbag. While activating vehicle component, please pay special attention: when the tester is powered on, pressing Left/Right button in Component Test means all the battery current is being introduced from the positive or negative pole of the vehicle battery through the tester probe tip. Please strictly follow the 
instructions to avoid damage to the vehicle’s electrical components.

Install/ Update Software
This function allows you to update the tester software through a computer.
Note: The tester comes with the most recent software version.
1) On the computer, download the driver from the internet:

b. Click Download tab
c. Download KingUpdater
d. Download the PB600 software (if there is an update available) 
2) Connect the tester to the computer with a USB Cable.
3) From System Setup, use the Up/ Down button to select Update Mode, then 
press OK .
4) Follow instructions on the tester and the computer.
